My Yard Menswear SS11

I've been assisting with the new menswear SS11 collection for clothing brand My Yard & here's some of the final shots from the new lookbook which I styled a few weeks back. They've upped the anti considerably this season to try & offer a more diverse & trend focused streetwear collection & I feel like they've really nailed it. Still included is the bright bold streetwear graphics which they've become renound for, but thrown in the mix is a range of fashion cut scoop neck tees, loose fit vests & varsity jackets all offered on a satisfyingly trend focused colour palette of white, blacks, red wine, camel & marl.

I'm especially fond of the Navayo! pocket tee's, vests and the scoop neck Navayo! tribal design tee which we're considering buying in for Yayer for girls as an oversized tee dress. If not, i'll definitely be grabbing one for myself.

Velvet Underground

Australian Brand Mink Pink released their Fall 2011 campaign lookbook images this week making me even more excited about next seasons collection than when I viewed it last week in London. With it's edgy but wearable vintage inspired leopard prints, on-trend spice colours, crushed velvet and effortless styling, it's easy to see how this brand's gone global. Here are a few pictures from the lookbook shoot including some pieces I've ordered in for AW. I've got my eye on the cream tribal poncho, can't wait to get my hands on one when they drop in store early September.
